And me?
Well I started out in the jewellery industry as a bench jeweller when I was 16. My skin didn't like the work so I left after 7 years. After a long break I found a wonderful teacher who encouraged back into enjoying playing with metal again.

I was immediately attracted to PMC when it first became available. I have been using Precious Metal Clay in my jewellery work since 2004 and enjoy the possibilities this flexible medium offers. I use PMC where traditional methods would take me days to achieve the same result. I still work with Sterling Silver to make flatware and other decorative items where cost wins over time.

I also enjoy working with resin, polymer clay, glass and found objects. I use Polymer Clay, epoxy and resin to bring colour into my work.

I work out of a small studio with a pot belly stove and 2 cats to keep me warm.

I am the Vice Prsident of the Precious Metal Clay Guild of Australia and New Zealand and work to promote this medium wherever I can. I can offer advice over the phone if you are unable to get to a class, although the atmosphere of a class is infinitely better for learning.
